Before installing

System requirements

PVDesigner is a Windows desktop plugin that runs inside a compatible Autodesk CAD installation. The requirements below describe the current targeted build; other versions are not confirmed compatible.

Operating system

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, compatible with the installed Autodesk product.

CAD application

Full Autodesk AutoCAD 2027 or Autodesk Civil 3D 2027. AutoCAD LT is not supported.

Activation

Internet access for customer registration, approval checking, initial activation and periodic licence renewal.

A valid Autodesk licence is required. Performance depends on project size and your CAD workstation specification. PVDesigner is not an Autodesk product.
